Welcome to Cloona Child Contact Services...
Save Cloona Campaign...
Cloona Child Contact Service has been developed as a two year pilot project by a partnership involving the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, Barnardos and Cloona Child Contact Centre.

The project has involved the piloting of an integrated demonstration model of working which has brought together and enhanced the previous Cloona Child Contact Centre and the Court Welfare Service at Lisburn Court. The project has been funded for two years, commencing from April 2006, by the Belfast Regeneration Office (BRO) via the DHSSPS/BRO Action Plan.

Mission...

Our mission is three-fold:

  • To empower children to navigate a path through the process of family change(s).

  • To provide a safe and supportive environment where children can express their wishes and feelings, have their voices heard, and know that their parents recognise their needs for future contact on a consistent basis.
  • To create the conditions where parents and other significant people in the child’s life accept responsibility for providing constructive role models for the child when living through a turbulent period of change in family life.
